“The concept of the site is great and once it’s focused solely on competition information, it’s a site that could quickly gain a large readership and make the webmaster a lot of money. Thanks to information I found on The Prize Blog, I’m going to be winning a year’s worth of ice-cream and a new car!”

“Everyone probably has at least one friend that is a contest or sweepstakes junkie. Perhaps that person is you. If so, take a minute to check out “The Prize Blog - A Free Updated List of Contests, Sweepstakes and Prizes!” … The site also offers a review of different gaming sites providing them with letter grades. The owner of this site, Brian Aldrich, started this site only a few months ago, to provide you with the best sweepstakes site the Internet can offer. There really is a sweepstakes for everyone here, you will find contests on everything from kitchen appliances to brand new 2007 vehicles… Other reviewers have said this blog is “attractive and interesting…really fun” and have stated it as the blog with all the “best online competitions available” . If you look around, you will see why this blog has received such excellent recognition during its very short time on the Internet. Navigation on this site is very easy and straightforward. In fact, the site is so professionally laid out that it is almost hard to see it is a blog. There are two navigation bars, left and right, and a top navigation bar as well. Each bar offers different links, so you can see very quickly that this site has a lot to offer. On the left bar, you can check out some other contest bloggers like Contest Girl, and Grandma Jam. In the right you can read recent comments or go over some of the blog’s site reviews where it reviews some online gaming sites and easy cash programs. You will also find in this bar sweepstakes and contests links, and an opportunity to donate to the site if you wish to do so. At the top is standard site administration such as site map, FAQ, forum, contact info, about page, tools menu, and even a link exchange. Overall this site is laid out in a very clear cut manner, and if you are a sweepstakes kind of person, you should find yourself having a lot of fun here. I am going with a 4 for this one which gives credence to how good this site is considering it is only a few months old. The site gets top notch marks for navigation and appearance with its very professional layout. Other reviewers have said in reference to its layout “If only my own company would have an awesome page like that.” And I have to agree, it is very user friendly and the overall appeal is nothing but professional. Content and activity scores are high also as the sweepstakes and contests are very diverse, and the posts are short and to the point. Uniqueness points are well earned due to the varied nature of the contests, gaming sites, and the overall concept of the blog itself… If you like to enjoy contests, get in there while the readership is young, you just never know what you may end up winning. Good luck!”

“While I can’t vouch for the veracity or anything about the contests, this is such an attractive and interesting blog, really fun. Prizes to be won if you enter the contests, so the blogger says. I say at your own risk, but take a look at this clever work. You might get lucky.”

“From a retro kitchen mixer (worth over $1000), to a new Ipod shuffle and free itunes, pet food or free wedding photography – this blog takes the trouble to find all the best online competitions available and lays them all out for you in a handy list. On top of that, only ‘approved’ competitions are listed, giving less cause for concern about possible scams. Not just a blog, but a fully-functioning website with hits and tips and a FAQ page. This site is very nicely presented, there is no personal blogging that I could see, the author has concentrated on posting entries about competitions… [ThePrizeBlog] sets out to do a task and achieves it admirably.”

“Everybody likes free competitions, and ThePrizeBlog searches the internet to bring them to you. The problem with competitions on TV or in a magazine or on TV is that you have to send a text or post your answer which costs money and takes time. ThePrizeBlog searches free prize competitions for you so you don’t have to even leave your seat… These competitions are in the main for US applicants, and you will have to record your full contact details for most of the competitions. The site has a neat layout and is easy to follow. You don’t have to wade through personal observations, this blog is just geared towards competitions. The site includes all the elements of a website, (contact details, FAQ, hints and tips etc..) there are even some free tools to help you with your competition entries. If you are US based and you like free stuff, give it a whirl.”

“There’s no such thing as free lunch and no such thing as free prizes either but as long as you get more than what you pay for who wouldn’t want to win? The Prize Blog is a great starting point for those who like getting freebies in the internet…Very user friendly. Easy navigation, fast loading time, short readable entries. The FAQ and Tips and Tricks are especially informative as to the blog’s nature and give useful advice for those interested in entering online contests. The Tools page is also very useful giving users the link to tools they can use to auto-fill forms…Very informative and useful. Subscribing to this blog will definitely save you hours of scouring the net for contests with cool prizes. Since the blog is updated frequently you won’t have to worry about the posts being outdated…A really useful blog to find contest where you can actually win something. Since there are a lot of online scams going on subscribing to this blog makes sense as the author only endorses contests that he’s pretty sure about.”

“I just saw ThePrizeBlog.com. The HTML is classy…It must have taken a decade to finish the page. If only my own company would have an awesome page like that. Delicate and exclusive. Seeing ThePrizeBlog.com, I’m simply out of words. What a cool page! The color scheme is fantastic. Quite simply the greatest page I have seen of this type in years.”

“I’ve never come across a blog like this one yet…it lists different contests and prizes that are being offered by companies and websites with the link to each one. Like if you want to win the new Blackberry he has an announcement about that on his blog. The idea of getting together a compilation of different prizes and contest is great…go to his site…pick what interests you…click on the link and fill out the entry form or follow the directions of the sponsor. It’s a brilliant idea in my opinion and hopefully it becomes a raging success. Well done”
